Blogger Brunch Date

When a friend decides to take the plunge and start blogging, i think it’s only right to celebrate. One such friend is Blogger Luce, we used to go to school together and I can’t wait to see her blog expand and develop.

Our celebration took us to Camden Bar and Kitchen in Ashley Cross. They also hold an open mic night which is very popular, I’ve been to watch once of twice on a Monday. But we decided that brunch was the best option seeing as we are ‘grown ups’. DSCN1455

We headed for a window table ( natural light for all the photo taking) and a lovely waitress greeted us as soon as out bottoms hit the seats. I knew what I wanted pretty quickly (going out the night before will do that to you) Lucy nano seconds behind.

DSCN1450 I went for Eggs florentine Lucy for Benedict, washed down with a coffee and a glass of orange for me.DSCN1449

I always thought I was more of an eggs Benedict girl, but the eggs florentine was so delicious, the lightly salty spinach with the creamy egg balanced out against the hollandaise. DSCN1454

After devouring our food we chatted about life, Lucy’s new camera, our futures….

We paid, chatted to the lovely waitress and headed out into the glorious sunshine to put Lucy’s new camera to use with outfit photos.

All the outfit photos were in my last post here.

There are two Camdens in the Poole area one in Ashley Cross and the other in Westbourne, If you’re not in the mood for brunch head over for a pulled pork wrap or a steak wrap ( they are so delicious) or head there for a night out and grab yourself a tea pot cocktail.

Thank you for reading,

Amelia, XO
