The Girl Travels

London: TRIBE hotel Canary Wharf | The Girl Travels

On Thursday, Hayden and I headed to London to see TWICE at the O2 Arena. Knowing that I didn’t want to travel too far after the concert I picked a hotel in Canary Wharf. The business district of London. I usually book through booking.com and found that TRIBE had an 8.4 rating and is a 4 star hotel. It was walking distance from the Tube ( underground, subway) took us around 5 minutes to reach the station. TRIBE Canary wharf

I booked the Essential Atrium room. Which is their smallest and cheapest room. The view is of the internal courtyard. On arrival we were upgraded to an external view which was great. The sunlight in the room really helped make the space seam larger.

The space is compact, perfect for a few nights stay and for people using the local area. The decor was a mix of industrial with a NYC vibe with exposed walls and piping. The warm tones in the room created a calming feel that helped us relax after a busy day in London. The little desk provided a place to sit and relax with a black Roberts radio to listen to your favourite radio station.

Complete with a little kettle station the desk was perfect. The little cartons of water were a great touch. The bathroom was compact, but the shower was amazing. After a busy dusty day in London a rainfall shower was out of this world. The wash products provided smelt lovely. I forgot that my hair is very temperamental so didn’t enjoy a. different conditioner and shampoo, So i can’t review how well they worked. There is a little Amazon local grocery store just up the road from the hotel.

I would give TRIBE  8/10 I would have liked a little more space or storage space and to have more than one coffee sachet to share between Hayden and I. The wifi although it is free, is super slow. I’m glad I didn’t bring my laptop to do any work. But very clean and modern and safe.

Can’t wait to travel again so I can stay at TRIBE’s in different locations. Looking at you Amsterdam.
