The Pig On The Beach

The Pig On The Beach – Studland.

Where the staff wear converse and pink shirts and the bill is presented in a cutlery case. With the sun out we decided that the best place for lunch was the terrace.

Woodland Chicken & Tarragon Raviolli.

Totally delicious, eating the flowers was quite new to me but totally loved it all, the chicken was so succulent. If I were at home I would have picked up that bowl and slurped up all the juice.

Piggy Bites: Chase Smoked Vodka BBQ Ribs.

Of course I couldn’t pass up ribs, look at them glisten in the sun, the perfect amount of sticky sauce and zingy flavour. After remaining lady like with the ravioli I really couldn’t help myself and mopped up all the sauce. Next time I’d like a table full of these bad boys.

25 Mile Menu: Produce used in The Pig’s menus local sourced!

Everyone had the same idea, and were relaxing in the sun, all that was missing was free cocktails, but that would have been a bad idea because I was driving.

As you walk around you notice all the elements that set The Pig apart from the rest, the indoor garden / green house. Totally Pinterest worthy, and great staff that asked if we’d like a cushion to save our behinds on the terrace chairs. The wellies that guests can use that line the front door. The list could really go on.

If you haven’t already I suggest that you get yourself there.

There are a few Pigs dotted around the place, so find your nearest one here The Pig.
