Mexican in Bournemouth

While doing my research before going to Mexigo (everyone does research before they eat at a place, right?) I found that the distinction between traditional Mexican food and Tex-Mex has blured. Mexican food is a very broad term and encompasses a lot of different dishes within the name. Tex-Mex is Mexican food via Texas, which is another type of Mexican food. Confusing, right?

Mexigo isn’t confusing. pick how you’d like your burrito, tacos, nachos, bowl, fajitas or quesadilla (ke-sa-de-ya) add guac, add salsa.  Chose from the menu or Be bold and get your server to recommed something you wouldn’t normally pick.  Also GF and V options if you wish.

My favourite was Beef and sweet chilli and the vegan burrito.

This vegan burrito tasts amazing, I’m not vegan but this burrito is really worth getting.

I sat with food blogger Michelle from bellemichelle.food and Kelly from Mama of a Cool Kid. Who sampled a frozen margarita and daiquiri, which looked so delicious. We chatted and laughed and eat so many nachos and burritos together.

I went for a 7up instead and missed out on the opportunity to try a Jarritos. Kelly tried the lime and said it was great. I want to try the Guava next time. How beautifully bright are the bottles all in the fridge.

Thank you to Darren Northeast PR, Bournemouth bloggers and Mexigo for inviting me along to have dinner with you. I can’t wait to see where we go next. #bournemouthbloggerssupperclub

I’m so inspired and really want to go to Mexico. If you’ve been, where did you go? where did you stay what’s the best food?
