Those ladies you see who wear the comfy ‘safe’ black leather pumps, are the real winners in life. I NEEDED new shoes for work and looked all over the high street. I found nothing, I went into Marks & Sparks on the off chance these would be a pair of shoes for me. There were so many pairs I’d wear as trend pieces. These are the best shoes ever.
This little red number is the replacement bag for my Sandra Rhodes bag that got destroyed at Slam Dunk. A bright red Yumi shoulder bag that fits everything perfectly without being a duffle bag. The gold detailing is very different from what I normally go for but am obsessed with it.

Can you believe it’s June.
Seriously where is the time going, and where is the nice weather? I spent Fathers Day with family by the beach. The beach probably wasn’t the best decision, but to live so close it would be rude not to.

The simplest of looks are sometimes the best. Starting a mini collection of looks that are smaller posts. Focusing more on two photos of the look and the details less nattering and gibbering on, I’ll save that for larger posts.

Taken after 5 plus G&T’s and a burger and fries.
Probably the happiest I’ll ever looking having my look photos taken. It helps having had a few gins when you have an audience watching H take photos of you.

Anyone else jumped on the small sunglasses trend? I tried the trend with these Romwe ones that were super inexpensive. If I become a fully fledged member of the Small Shades Gang I’ll be investing in some more. The black ones are really easy to wear. I got them in red too, but haven’t found the right moment to wear them yet. They are so much harder to style. I’m feeling all kinds of confident and am really excited to develop some great looks for summer.
My aim for the summer is to save some $$ to move out this year and get to the beach. I’m also interning over summer, possibly going to Italy and having a few stay-cations.
What are your plans for summer? Are you working or spending it sat on the beach somewhere?

Tin Tin, Law, Josh, Law’s friend, Matt, Me and H
My favourite set was for sure Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes. I’m obsessed with Modern Ruin and to see them live was such an unforgettable experience. Being in the middle of the circle pit bought back Pendulum nightmares. I was so worried I’d fall over again and get stood on. But listening to everyone sing I Hate You back to FC&TR was beautiful. I was shouting at the top of my lungs. It’s such a motivational song.
“This track is for that one person, that single person in your life that keeps you going and pushing forward just so that you can hang on long enough to see them fall. We’ve all got that person, so listen to this song and take a minute to enjoy how much you hate them. You’ll feel better for it”. Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes via YouTube
The most cathartic song!
Of course I got Some FC&TR merch, how could I not?
( ^ bought a model Millennium Falcon for £10 to hang in our house when H and I move out)
As well as FC&TR I saw Knuckle Puck, Me vs Hero, Roam, Trash Boat, Twin Atlantic, and a little Good Charlotte. I really wanted to see Pavis but took H to the emergency tent to get his ear fixed. His piercing got ripped through and there was blood everywhere. Have to take care of your #1 first.
I want wait to go next year, get an Air BnB and make a get away out of it.
black in summer is so underrated. Black pieces against pale skin or a more glowing complexion black can take any look form a 5 to and 8 instantly. black dresses are timeless and chic and perfect for running around town in or sitting in a beer garden soaking up the sun. This little one I’ve had for years and has never failed me. The underskirt needs a little attention but it’s so flattering and the perfect length to tan my pins. Worn with the perfect ‘business’ jacket from LOTD and white trainers with contrasting laces.

Tailored items are a winner when it comes to pulling an outfit together. The age old, ‘throw a blazer on’ has been all over the internet and fashion realms. Tailoring is great to give your silhouette definition. A piece that’s sometimes over looked is the shirt. More importantly the mens shirt worn on a more feminine frame.
European styling at it’s finest. An Italian tan leather jacket off set by some light blue mom jeans, and classic leopard print block heels.

Dippy – Diplodocus | Dorset County Museum
Dippy stayed in the Victorian hall which is very fitting for a globe trotting dino. He/She wouldn’t have settled for anything less. Dippy is over 100 years old and tours the globe inspiring new generations of scientists. The next Ross Geller could be among us.
I learnt so much about Dippy but couldn’t find Dips gender, which ties in perfectly to my T-shirt. It’s genderless clothing from Zara. Designed with no gender boundaries other then making a cute shirt for anyone to buy. Of course you can shop in either section no matter what just I really enjoy the inclusivity that Zara are promoting.
If you do get the chance to see Dippy in their tour of the UK please do, you’ll learn a lot and get to be Ross for a day. Next Stop Birmingham.
