LAYERING DRESSES

Having a dress that is too short is easily fixed with an open dress over the top or a longer jacket overlayed. This shirt dress from the William Morris collection with H&M is super short on me. I have however worn it without a jacket and with a pair of fishnet tights. My style has changed a little and I prefer to wear it this way. Some kneehigh boots and a short-sleeved denim dress worn as a jacket creates different proportions and a level of interest. The cream denim dress is from Marks and Spencer, thrifted from Oxfam online.

The whole colour palette of this look is all in the same tone.  From boots to highlight to threads of the denim dress and the notes of the shirt dress, The gold of the bracelets match the zip and earrings. A contrasting colour pop on the lips from Clinique. My warmer toned roots that I did myself for a little lockdown fun. Using the L’Oreal preference home dye kit on Stockholm.
