Styling Black Maxi Dress for Summer – Compton Acres

As you saw in my last post, I wore the same maxi dress again. I wanted to show off this maxi dress from Zara. I’ve been wearing it a lot as it’s so easy to wear and light and breezy. As I’m tall it’s not really a maxi dress but the length is perfect. The ruffling detailing makes the dress much more interesting and wearable. I paired these flats from ASOS which really elongate the leg and foot to make it a more feminine outfit.

Compton Acres gardens are stunning all year round. But Spring and Summer are really the best seasons to go and walk around. It’s perfectly located near beautiful Sandbanks beaches and not to for away from Bournemouth. You aren’t timed for your visit and can spend as long as you want looking at all the flowers. The gardens are all themed differently. My favourites are the Italian Garden and the Japanese Garden. After you have walked around visit the shop or stay for a coffee in their cafe.
