PUFF SLEEVED CHRISTMAS JUMPER

This season I’ve noticed there is an underlying trend of ‘stole it from Granddad’. The subtile hits of mens styling, retro patterning. Knitwear is always huge in AW not matter the year. Developing on that idea this TU clothing jumper is granddad vibes at it’s finest. Probably knitted by grandma and give to granddad as the months got colder. The feminine detailing of the puffed sleeves and cuffed detailing create a delicate silhouette that stays away from making the look a costume.

Worn with mom jeans as I have so many memories of my Granddad’s wearing straight leg medium to light was jeans. To keep the femininity again stay away from straight legged jeans as mom jeans hug the hips and waist creating more shape. Of course you have to add a slipper. What granddad didn’t have a slipper?

Lets move onto leather. Yes, I have images of Granddad Jim and Granddad Dan wearing leather. As either jackets from photos of their youth or in their perfectly polished smart shoes. I added my leather to the look with the slippers, a Gucci vintage find from Florence and a 100% recycled polyester leather look jacket from Zara.

An easy outfit that any Granddad would be proud of.
