Just Call Me Barbarella

A visual representation of what a spontaneous outfit choice looks like. I’m normally someone who’s pretty good at pre-planning what to wear to an event. I look on Instagram for the location, who else will be there etc. While thinking about what I have in my wardrobe that will suit me and the situation.  But this time I grabbed items and dashed out the door on the morning to get to work. I think the look came out reasonably well considering. I did feel a little like Barbarella in the boots and short dress. But I love to style with character.

The newest addition to my wardrobe are these OTK boots, a Zara sales purchase. This 60’s style black mini dress has been the best LBD purchase I’ve ever made and it was from a supermarket. Yeah, that’s right, a bloody supermarket. To top it all off this Rowan Originals cardigan has handed round the women in my family every few years. It’s the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, but with a cardigan.
