Christmas Tree and Table 16

I traveled home from university to send some time with my family over the Christmas holiday. I’ve really missed them while I’ve been at uni and haven’t really felt the Christmas  spirit, that all changed with this beauty of a tree. Mum really out did herself this year. Normally we have a very clean looking tree with only matching baubles but this time was different we had butterflies, ribbons, crystal snowflakes, Disney macaroons and even a few ballerinas.

I sent my boyfriend off to work this morning, and have had a very low key Christmas without him. The rest of us had our dinner cooked by my dad. Mum, Grandma and myself washed everything up after. This year we went for a purple and white table decorations. Did you see last years post about our Christmas table here?

Crystals even made it onto the table, the best cranberry sauce I’ve even eaten was there too. Tesco finest with lingonberry, it’s super rich and full of flavour.

The red cabbage matched the place mats ! How perfect for a little flat lay. Dad per request made brussels with bacon and bread crumbs because that’s the only way I like them.

Then we lazed around in the lounge opening presents and listening to Christmas tunes.

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas day or what ever you decided to celebrate or not. I’m looking forward to bringing you a few other posts I have up my sleeve before the new year so stay tuned.

Love Amelia, XO.
