The Girl Creates,  The Girls Style

30, flirty & thriving

A couple days before my birthday H organised a suprise dinner with friends at a pan Asian restaurant I love eating at. Drgn Fly is so chic and classy with various south east asian dishes and  drinks. It’s a place we always love to go. We sat under the cherry blossom tree and toasted my looming 30’s with cocktails.

I celebrated turning 30 at the top of the year by having a pink and white party. The  theme came from my second birthday party. My mum organised a pink and white themed birthday party, complete with pink cake and pink drinks. I wore little plastic heels and a cute frilly pink and white dress. I’ve always wanted a pink and white themed birthday for my 30th and with the help of H it happened. Sort of a nostalgic nod to the end of my 2’s.

The dress, I made it. I bought a few meters of sequin fabric and cut and sewed a little mini dress to wear for the day. I wanted to be hyper pink and cute so I wore pink tights and heels. H surprised me with a sash and crown that I wore out for coffee at my favourite place. (Little Perth, coffee shop and florist) The day was capped off with a surprise party with my family. Complete with pink presents and lots of pink prosecco.
