First look at the TAO bag from Wicker Wings. I’ve followed Wicker Wings on Instagram for a while and saved photos of their TAO bag into my saved file.

With a beautiful sentimental story and ethos Wicker Wings achieve so much. A family team inspired by their Grandmother who used to make wicker bags in China before moving to England. Brother and Sister duo James and Belinda employ Indonesian women to weave each basket. Then each basket is taken to England and finished by a team of artisans. Transforming them into bags. Encouraging female employment and craftsmanship. Sustainability is a fundamental part of Wicker Wings. Vegetable Italian leather, using natural materials in the finishing process. Using the fastest growing rattan means Wicker Wing’s aren’t over cultivation resources. Employing women to boost the UK and Indonesian economy.
