Turning 31 with dinner at The Ivy Bournemouth

Well it’s been a while. I thought I’d recap with a little trip down memory lane. Back to January and to my birthday on the 20th. There is never anytime I really want for my birthday. My love language is time for sure. Just spend the day with me, that’s all I need. This birthday was no different I just wanted H and maybe a dinner out. I always appreciate that H makes me a cake and every year he pushes the boat out and tries a new flavour or shape.

We spend the evening at The Ivy in Bournemouth for dinner.

Taking over the old New Look location in the town centre. We have been dying to go since it opened but with our trip to Cologne and being so ill we never managed to go. This isn’t the first time we’ve been to The Ivy. We have been to their Covent Garden Location, Canary Wharf, Winchester and their Ivy Asia in Cardiff.

For mains I went for the duck curry. It was delicious. I’ve been thinking about it all the way into March. Super fragrant and moreish. I’m so happy to finally have The Ivy in Bournemouth and to have a new lunch spot.
