Check Squared

Trousers – Primark | Trainers – Vans | Coat – Primark | Jumper – H&M

Two full days in Florence consisted of ice cream, pizza, vintage shopping and laughing. The purpose of the trip was to spend a day at Pitti Filati, a yarn/knitting trade show. Getting to experience what it’s like to be a buyer and be surrounded by industry.

Hello again my old friend ( the Duomo) I can to Florence for the day years ago with my parents and it was a magical experience to marvel at the detail of this building. Its dome can be seen just by the hotel we stayed in this time. The beautiful pink and green pattern is next level inspiration to colour clash in my styling.

One look that I loved wearing was this checked look. Coordination is so much more fun then I thought it could ever be. The different brown checks compliment each other match into that this amazing creamy knitted jumper. Effortless matching and muted tones. Yes completely contrasted with these new checked Vans from the Schuh sale. I’ve lusted after a pair of checked Vans for what feels like a millennium. To finally have a pair is so pleasing I cannot tell you. Styling wise, it’s not the best, a cream shoe or brown would have looked chicer. But I only bought with me these Vans and a pair of heels.
