I wore this to my mums Christmas party, she hosts one every year and it’s always a hoot.
I loved wearing kimonos during the summer but thought they would be silly in winter. How wrong was I, they are the perfect party dress coverup. I’ve been listening to Fleetwood Mac non-stop, which inspired the accessorise. Also I’ve found that I hate wearing tights, they are so uncomfortable.
This winter I think I’m the busiest I’ve even been with work, college and parties all over December. One of my favourite looks to meet the girlies in is this little skirt and these boots. I’ve mentioned these boots a while ago and I can’t stop loving them. But favourite part of this outfit is definitely this Oasis sparkly top, I love the cowl neck back and the bar across the back. it’s such a great Christmas piece that I’ve been longing to wear. I bought the shirt at last years Clothes Show live ( I’m going to this years Clothes Show!) You could wear this Christmas day and eat everything on the table and still look great.
This cape is everything to me this season. I love swaddling myself in soft warm fabric to keep out the winters wind. The colours are perfect for pairing with anything, winter dresses, trousers, blue jeans. It just works.
I hope the weather sorts its self out soon, so I can take some outfit photos outside without blowing away.
I didn’t plan on getting this dress, I was actually on the hunt for Brogan’s dress she wore in her weekly vlog a while ago (this one) but couldn’t find it, I did how ever find this beauty! It’s perfect for Christmas parties and dinners!
Can we just take a moment to look at these boots!! I’ve been looking for a pair of tan boots with a serious heel for quite a while and Just Fab had a promotion on which meant these boots ( and another pair) came home with me. They are such an easy boot to pair with anything in my wardrobe.
Halloween is one of my favourite celebrations, I love being able to dress up and decorate the house. Every year my cousin comes over with her friends to a little spooky adventure. This year we did a treasure hunt in the garden, with a piñata spider at the end!!
I thought I’d share with you a few sneak peaks of the new kitchen and dining room, and show you the Halloween decorations.
I can’t wait to share with you some of my favourite A/W15 looks so stay tuned!
I think I’ve found the perfect black jumper for winter! (I know that’s a big statement) The fit is perfect, it’s warm ( no need to layer up) the little slits al the sides add a little detail the high neck. There is no frills to this jumper, it does it’s job and it does it every well. I love pairing it with a bright shirt to make a statement.
All the weather gets colder and colder I find myself reaching for scents more and more. I love the smell of a fire when it’s freezing outside, the smell of hot chocolate in a coffee shop. These scents above have been my top 6 scents this A/W15.
Daisy Marc Jacobs – The classic everyday perfume that I was gifted for Christmas. I get nostalgic when I wear this. Sweet and floral but not sickening.
Orange Grove – White Company – I picked this up last month and have been spritzing all over my room in the morning to freshen the air. A crisp light scent.
Yves Saint Laurent – Opium This miniature bottle is my Christmas part perfume, gone are the light florals of summer and day time. This perfume is more sophisticated and refined.
Chloé – Another daily perfume not as light as Daisy, this is more of a lunch date perfume. The notes of this are hard to pin point, a little mysterious.
Ted Baker body spray. pink is a sickening sweet affair of mango, musk, patchouli and neroli. My favourite of course is the Mint green. A delicate blend of violet, cherry, vanilla, peach and amber.
Both are great stocking fillers and ideal the throw in you handbag also £2.50 a pop!
Hope you enjoyed looking thought my A/W15 scents, I’d love to know what your go to perfumes and smells are this year.
white vases – IKEA spray painted | fake peonies – Range
If all else fails wear an LBD you really can’t go wrong. I wore this skater to a friends birthday the other week and let me tell you, it’s the perfect transition from S/S to A/W. Paired with nude heels to make my legs longer!
One of this seasons trends is fur bags, and i’m totally onboard with that. I love faux fur things, this bag is perfect. Would you know it’s actually an iPad case!! I never use it for that but I love it as a purse. Metallic details are my favourite thing right now, nails, rings, shoes, makeup!
I thought there would be a transition between summer and Autumn, turns out one day it’s glorious sunshine the next its torrential rain. Typical British weather! Though it does mean that I can start to work in my winter wardrobe.
I’ve never worn a turtle neck before, I always thought that I had to much in that chest area for it good. But this baggy drop sleeved one is perfect. paired with high waisted black skinnies it’s a perfect casual outfit. Of course I had to wear my Topshop orange flats!!
