Pink is one of my favourite eye shadow hues out there. For a natural pared back look I go for matte and nude, for an evening out a bright vibrant pop.
The pink in this ELF palette is shimmer central, I love working this into a smokey eye. My dark green eyes are the perfect combo with a pink smokey eye. This is the best for going out!
My daily eye look is a little bit sixties and adding this Urban Decay eye shadow in ABC Gum is the perfect soft matte edition. This is such a light nude that I add a little uplifting socket colour. Pat the Urban Decay pink all over the lid then go into the socket with a shimmer eyeshadow in a similar colour, maybe the L’oreal Colour Appeal – Platinum Beige.
Most of my eye shadows are baked so to work with a cream shadow is something I’m still getting to grips with. Cargo Cosmetics – Suited To A Tea. The pallete double ended brush is great. The defined end is great for precision application, I’ve worked a pink eyeliner into my makeup with the colour Macaroon. Or the larger end for an all over eye shadow.
I think I may dabble in a bit of purple soon. Hope I don’t fall into the trap of the lilac 90’s vibe.
I think this is my ‘BBQ At a Friends’ uniform, no that I go to friends BBQ’s all the time. But if I did.
Any opportunity to wear heels and statement earrings. I’ve been lusting over tassel earrings for ages, after seeing other bloggers rock them, I took the plunge with these yellow beaded ones.
I want the pattern of this top on everything!! A loose cami top with fitted jeans are a staple for every girl, right? New look are really my favourite place to get shoes, where else can you buy affordable, brown suede, gladiator wedges. I mean really they are so on point with their shoes. Also couldn’t resist these flowers, they look really cute around a messy bun.

Sharing one of the most amazing things I’ve ever done with you on the blog today.
One of the most exciting things I’ve ever done, is go to London Fashion Week s/s 2013. I’ve always wanted to go so when I got tickets to the Simone Rocha show at Somerset House I was knocked sideways with excitement.
Back then I was borrowing my mums point and shoot camera and didn’t really have a clue about cameras or how to try and change settings for lighting. These photos aren’t the best quality but I love them.
Can you believe that I sat one row away from John Rocha!! Such a fan girl moment, I texted my mum and couldn’t help shaking with excitement.
The photo quality is super cringe worthy! I’m pretty sure it’s all the adrenaline of being at London Fashion Week, being at an amazing show, sitting so close to John Rocha making them blurry.
Lets talk about the looks: Feminine looks given masculine edge. knotted mohawks, chunky shoes, thigh cut outs relaxed waist lines. A lot of black which i really loved, the light reflecting of the ruffles the pop socks with pearls on. The music reminded me of Daft Punk and I was in love with the whole spectacle.
I hope to share with you more of my fashion memoirs and highlights.
I never knew Truro had boutique shops, independent stores and great places to eat. While I was over in Cornwall with family I was able to explore the city in more detail.
While waiting for everyone to arrive for lunch I ducked into Magpie and Fox, a treasure trove of gorgeous pieces. All unique pieces for all over the world. I snagged this soft denim jacket in the sale and couldn’t be happier, the length reminds me of a pea coat and I love that.
Toasting with a little bubbly 😉
Sneaky little new look sale purchase! I know, I know more shoes 🙂

I love bright colours but never really liked to wear bright orange, that all changed when I saw these Topshop flats the other day. I posted a picture of me trying on the blue ones maybe 6 months ago, on Instagram, but never bought them. I wasn’t going to miss them second time around. They were in the sale too!!

have a lovely day, Amelia XO.
Having a day off from work meant I got to spend some quality time with my mum walking around Poole Park, we decided to take ol’ Pip ( our family dog, who is super old and can’t go for long walks anymore) we grabbed a coffee and chatted.
This sailor top is so comfortable and perfect for me, as i live by the sea 😉
My mum joked at how many different shades of blue I was wearing, what can I say I love blue.

By now you lovely readers should know that I love shoes, like really love them. If I see a pair of shoes that I love I have to have them. This is what happened the other day. My mum showed me there beauties and I fell in love ( I totally blame her ) 😉
Nude, metal, block heel, t bar, buckle, everything is perfect about this shoe. Oh and did I mention they are super comfortable, I could easily do a marathon shopping session in these. These shoes have to be worn with one of my favourite colours, blue. The metal is totally off set and beautiful against my navy jacquard skirt. Of course I couldn’t wear head to toe blue everyday ( even though I love to try) This Zara top is so light and the oversized sleeves are perfect for when the sun finally comes out. Trying so hard to be Parisian, I can dream.
this hexagonal necklace is so perfect, delicate and masculine at the same time, I do love a contrast. I wore
skirt – Oasis old ( similar here )
top – Zara
shoes – Clarks
bag – Next polka dot version here
earcuff, necklace – Accessorize
stacking rings (gift) – love these
lipstick – No7 Berry Shine
Sunglasses – New Look old, similar

English summer means nothing to us Brits with out a down poor of rain.
For me personally there is no better way to spend a day stuck indoors then to pamper myself with some goodies. Lush are the go to place for a little TLC. I popped into their original store in Poole and snapped up some treats, thank you to Rose who helped me out now end, sniffing pots and bottles, picking the right bath bomb, I could go on about how great she was, but you should go in and see for yourself.
I’m trying to make more of an effort in looking after my hair, I think having curly hair does take a lot of work but, I love my ringlets and waves. This Tangled hot oil hair treatment is just the thing to give my hair a little break from working. Just melt into a mug and work into your locks, leave for as long as you can and ta-dah!
Comforter is one of the best smelling Lush products ever! I could sniff the stuff all day ( disclosure: stiffed the bottle in the store a little to much) I lather this up with a bath ball and turn myself into a bath time snowman.
I really have no clue what this bath bomb is called but I love it! It creates the best magic in your bath, lots of foam and bubbles.
This is the thing I’m most excited about Pumice Power, I stand all day and at the end of my working week I can’t wait to give my feet a break. Pumice Power is an exfoliant so I don’t rub my feet to hard with it, otherwise they would be so sore. Once towed off my feet are so soft and refreshed.
I used the hot oil, bath bomb and the pumice power all at the same time. It was a totally pamper fest, I felt like Cleopatra or something.
have a nice day XO
this quilted reversable jacket is a little vintage number my mum picked up. It’s to most light weight cosiest jacket I’ve ever worn.
I can’t decide which side I like the most!
I got a little crazy and bought yet another handbag ( i really should be saving, i have adventures to go on) I couldn’t help myself. Nautical and tiny. I can’t describe this pattern any other way then, water and ink. I LOVE this top the two layers, the slit in the back. The colours and everything, there are small hints of yellow. I’ve been wearing my most recent monthly favourites shoes all the time. Brogues and turned up jeans!!
Shoes – Asda!
Jeans – Dorothy Perkins
Water and Ink top – Delia (TK-Maxx)

A little July favourite time for you all. This month I was really feeling spending, but tried to keep it together.
All the glitter!!
Shoes: Blue brogues// Asda would you believe, the most comfortable shoes!! Cinderella shoes//NewLook, they are my bridesmaids shoes for my dad’s wedding 🙂
Hair products: The BEST thing for curly hair!! Living Proof, it’s really hair changing, my locks get to do what they want. Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime! after dying my hair blonde at the bottom my locks have been so dead, this omega repair is amazing! Also smells like the stuff salons use. Mmmmm!
Lotions and Potions: Did I really need a mini set of perfumes? No! did I buy them the last time I was in duty free? yes, yes I did. I’m so glad I did YSL Opium is the understated scent that I wanted and needed in my life. #sexywomansmell //Elizabeth Arden mascara ( do I even need to explain?) // Paul and Joe nail polish in Siamese 22// no17 Lipstick in Rule Breaker ( I wore a light cover on a recent date) Crocheted clothing is something i wish I could wear 24/7 totally comfortable and great for sunny days. I’d pair this little top with jeans for a BBQ or shorts for the beach. I love leather purses and when I was this Savile Row Company one I really hit the jack pot. The perfect colour, the gold log, great leather smell. Super understated and will go with all my bags. Score!!
