An Evening with Lush

Did you guys know that I used to work at Lush? During my late teens I worked my butt off in their digital sector and it was amazing, made some great friends and gained lots of knowledge about all their products. It was a great job, and I miss it. I love that I get to work on this blog but it’s lonely sometimes and Lush was so much fun.

I along with the Southampton Bloggers were invited to Lush in West Quay to have a little pamper session, make a face mask and have a personal daily routine created for each of us.

My skin care routine hand picked by Lizzy. One of the fresh face masks that I’ve always avoided was the blueberry one but it’s such a calming mask and so soothing. I have a small sample of the Cup o Coffee for my dark eye bags, and so many other samples. So I can bring back all the Lush I’ve missed in my life.

We made the face mask CUPCAKE. Cupcake is such a calming facemask and really helps to keep your skin calm. You need to keep it in the fridge and is so cold to put on your face it’s beyond relaxing.  Cupcake is filled with some many relaxing and calming ingredients. For me it’s the perfect for after being in the sun all day with makeup on.

Ingredients:

Rhassoul mud, linseed infusion, glycerine, talc, cocoa powder, fair trade organic cocoa butter, fresh mint, slandalwood oil, vanilla absolute, spearmint oil, peppermint oil, limonene and perfume.

We added vegan chocolate into ours for a little extra. Full disclosure I ate some of them when i got home. Curiosity killed the cat, am I right?

You need to keep your Cupcake in the fridge and it is such a cool consistency that it applies like finger paint to your face. Wait till it’s dried, and either wash it off or crumble it off really gently like I did.

A few bits of redness but, oh my! My skin is so much smoother and calmer then sun really makes my skin unhappy but Cupcake has calmed my skin so much.
