My outfit looked so much better without my Long Tall Sally coat, but I knew that I needed it for walking around Poundbury. English weather is unpredictable to say the least. The last time I came to Poundbury there were half the building there are now, which is super odd.
We stopped into my favourite shop Cherryade
They are ‘purveyors of super lovely things’ which is exactly what the store is filled with. I want everything they have. The framed art and home-wear are my favourites. Find them online here
Trying to hide from the rain we ducked in and out of shops, and looking at all the pretty houses. We found a little cafe around the corner from Yard, called Bramble.
The 70’s shirt is a H&M find that has been on the blog before. I just love the colour and the flowing sleeves. This time I took of the belt as went for a relaxed look.

I headed out to grab a bite with Lucy from Blogger Luce. We sat, ate, chatted and shopped, I just window shopped (nothing caught my attention, shocking I know) I love chatting with Lucy, I can talk about everything with her, but mainly about blogging today.
The first sign of sun and I’m getting my legs out with this dress. I love this dress, an absolute bargain from Primark last year.
My first ever designer bag got a runaround today. I don’t take her out really ever at all, she’s totally damaged but I’ve had her ages and I just love the pattern and the history. Sparkle ballet flats for all the window shopping.
We ate at Cosy Club Bournemouth | First time I went I had a milk shake which really wasn’t that great. This time I had sweet potato fries and patatas bravas. I know I just ordered a plate of potato, what can I say, I love it. There are Cosy Clubs all over the UK.

One trend that I have never really liked was the culotte. It brings me back to my childhood of wearing skorts. Basically I don’t see the point of them.
Having bigger hips then my waist makes culottes look so frumpy. It really accentuates my hips and I think I look wider then I actually am. But I would have never have known this if I hadn’t tried them out.
I now know that they are not my style and I will never wear them again like this. TBH I look like a balloon!! Thank goodness these are my grandma’s and she can for sure have them back.
This is where I shot my outfit of the day. I mean how beautiful is it.

When a friend decides to take the plunge and start blogging, i think it’s only right to celebrate. One such friend is Blogger Luce, we used to go to school together and I can’t wait to see her blog expand and develop.
Our celebration took us to Camden Bar and Kitchen in Ashley Cross. They also hold an open mic night which is very popular, I’ve been to watch once of twice on a Monday. But we decided that brunch was the best option seeing as we are ‘grown ups’.
We headed for a window table ( natural light for all the photo taking) and a lovely waitress greeted us as soon as out bottoms hit the seats. I knew what I wanted pretty quickly (going out the night before will do that to you) Lucy nano seconds behind.
I went for Eggs florentine Lucy for Benedict, washed down with a coffee and a glass of orange for me.
I always thought I was more of an eggs Benedict girl, but the eggs florentine was so delicious, the lightly salty spinach with the creamy egg balanced out against the hollandaise.
After devouring our food we chatted about life, Lucy’s new camera, our futures….
We paid, chatted to the lovely waitress and headed out into the glorious sunshine to put Lucy’s new camera to use with outfit photos.
All the outfit photos were in my last post here.
There are two Camdens in the Poole area one in Ashley Cross and the other in Westbourne, If you’re not in the mood for brunch head over for a pulled pork wrap or a steak wrap ( they are so delicious) or head there for a night out and grab yourself a tea pot cocktail.

Mini dresses are my go to piece to wear when having an evening out. Is there any better opportunity to show off as much leg as you can.

Relaxed (lazy) style is my everything, picking everyday pieces that are comfortable mixed in with something a little special to create a workable, wearable outfit.
On lazy days balance is key, I don’t want to be wearing dresses that I have to have the best sitting posture in or the jeans that are to tight and show my knicker lines ( hello those 3 easter eggs) I also don’t want to be wearing my scruffy clothes with all the paint stains on.
This embellished jumper caught my eye from across the store, a bold statement from such a basic grey jumper. Paired with my trusty ripped jeans and cognac boots ( for some added hight ) Teamed with my beaded tassel earrings Zandra Rhodes bag and some much needed lipstick to complete my favourite relaxed look.

Can you wear two dresses in one outfit? the answer is yes, yes you can.
I’ve had this red dress in my wardrobe for about 4 months. I’ve never been able to find the right occasion or right accessorise to wear it. It’s a heavy suede and buttoned up it didn’t sit right on my frame. I wore it unbuttoned over my grey turtle ‘smock’ as a type of trench/short sleeved blazer. Adding my sky high boots that make me about 6ft 3 to complete the look.

I’m a coat hoarder, I collect coats like they are going out of fashion (I hope not). This Long Tall Sally coat I scored in a charity shop is my latest addition. A mix between a pea coat and a trench and a gorgeous red pink. Slightly pinched at the waist to give me a little shape and the long sleeves. Being a tall girl means that sleeves are always short on me. but Long Tall Sally cater to the tall girl which is perfect for me as I’m 5 10.
The knitted texture kept me warm on my beach walk with Stacey.

Double denim has come into my life and I want him (her) to stay. I’ve paired my Danish denim coat with my ripped knee grey jeans. The dark denims compliment each other with getting out of my comfort zone. Apparently curly hair is on trend so I left mine to air dry. I’m all for curly hair being on trend, it means I can stop damaging my locks so much trying to straighten it.
I spent the day over in Wimborne looking around the shops and stopped into Walford Mill. An old mill that’s been converted into an art gallery and gift shop. The last time I was here was to sketch the exhibit on show for my A-level exam, which was about 4 years ago!
This is the only photo I took inside, you’ll just have to see the creativity for yourself.
Walford have workshops and new exhibits on all the time, so get yourself down there and get cultured. 😉
