If all else fails wear an LBD you really can’t go wrong. I wore this skater to a friends birthday the other week and let me tell you, it’s the perfect transition from S/S to A/W. Paired with nude heels to make my legs longer!

One of this seasons trends is fur bags, and i’m totally onboard with that. I love faux fur things, this bag is perfect. Would you know it’s actually an iPad case!! I never use it for that but I love it as a purse. Metallic details are my favourite thing right now, nails, rings, shoes, makeup!

The first in a series of wedding posts, if you didn’t know my dad is getting married in Cornwall this weekend. So my brother and I are over in Truro to get celebrating. One of this first celebrations is a girls dinner at Sam’s in the City.
I went for the Chicken and Bacon main. I never go for salad or anything with green in it, but this was totally worth it. The dressing was deliciously sticky and bacon salty and the salad crisp and light.
It’s only right after salad to have cheese cake right? This whole dinner is filled with things i never like to eat, and I’m not a fan of cheese cake at all. This is the New York cheese cake with a scoop of ice cream. Caramel sauce, sweet berries and rich cheesecake, delicious!
Of course the only place with any sort of lighting was the bathroom. 🙁

have a great day loves XO Amelia.
I thought there would be a transition between summer and Autumn, turns out one day it’s glorious sunshine the next its torrential rain. Typical British weather! Though it does mean that I can start to work in my winter wardrobe.
I’ve never worn a turtle neck before, I always thought that I had to much in that chest area for it good. But this baggy drop sleeved one is perfect. paired with high waisted black skinnies it’s a perfect casual outfit. Of course I had to wear my Topshop orange flats!!

I’m a true lover of jewellery and I try and find pieces that are stand out, something a little different, a little more then throw away jewellery. While looking over on Wolf & Badger I fell in absolute love with Glenda Lopez’s Fancy Popcorn collection. It’s safe to say that money left my account and a few days later a parcel arrived at my door.
I went for the Green piece of enamel popcorn on a gold chain, because it reminded me of an abstract flower and it amused me greatly to wear popcorn. I wish it had arrived when I went out to see Straight Outta Compton ( amazing film btw, even if you’re not a fan of NWA) popcorn at the movies.
I wasn’t to sure on the length of the chain, I’m not really into short necklaces or chokers, but i love how it sits just in-between my clavicles. The tiny pop of colour means I can wear it with anything. I wear this little piece of popcorn all the time, I get so many compliments. I might get it in other colours too. To be honest I want the whole collection.
Pink is one of my favourite eye shadow hues out there. For a natural pared back look I go for matte and nude, for an evening out a bright vibrant pop.
The pink in this ELF palette is shimmer central, I love working this into a smokey eye. My dark green eyes are the perfect combo with a pink smokey eye. This is the best for going out!
My daily eye look is a little bit sixties and adding this Urban Decay eye shadow in ABC Gum is the perfect soft matte edition. This is such a light nude that I add a little uplifting socket colour. Pat the Urban Decay pink all over the lid then go into the socket with a shimmer eyeshadow in a similar colour, maybe the L’oreal Colour Appeal – Platinum Beige.
Most of my eye shadows are baked so to work with a cream shadow is something I’m still getting to grips with. Cargo Cosmetics – Suited To A Tea. The pallete double ended brush is great. The defined end is great for precision application, I’ve worked a pink eyeliner into my makeup with the colour Macaroon. Or the larger end for an all over eye shadow.
I think I may dabble in a bit of purple soon. Hope I don’t fall into the trap of the lilac 90’s vibe.
I think this is my ‘BBQ At a Friends’ uniform, no that I go to friends BBQ’s all the time. But if I did.
Any opportunity to wear heels and statement earrings. I’ve been lusting over tassel earrings for ages, after seeing other bloggers rock them, I took the plunge with these yellow beaded ones.
I want the pattern of this top on everything!! A loose cami top with fitted jeans are a staple for every girl, right? New look are really my favourite place to get shoes, where else can you buy affordable, brown suede, gladiator wedges. I mean really they are so on point with their shoes. Also couldn’t resist these flowers, they look really cute around a messy bun.

Sharing one of the most amazing things I’ve ever done with you on the blog today.
One of the most exciting things I’ve ever done, is go to London Fashion Week s/s 2013. I’ve always wanted to go so when I got tickets to the Simone Rocha show at Somerset House I was knocked sideways with excitement.
Back then I was borrowing my mums point and shoot camera and didn’t really have a clue about cameras or how to try and change settings for lighting. These photos aren’t the best quality but I love them.
Can you believe that I sat one row away from John Rocha!! Such a fan girl moment, I texted my mum and couldn’t help shaking with excitement.
The photo quality is super cringe worthy! I’m pretty sure it’s all the adrenaline of being at London Fashion Week, being at an amazing show, sitting so close to John Rocha making them blurry.
Lets talk about the looks: Feminine looks given masculine edge. knotted mohawks, chunky shoes, thigh cut outs relaxed waist lines. A lot of black which i really loved, the light reflecting of the ruffles the pop socks with pearls on. The music reminded me of Daft Punk and I was in love with the whole spectacle.
I hope to share with you more of my fashion memoirs and highlights.
I love bright colours but never really liked to wear bright orange, that all changed when I saw these Topshop flats the other day. I posted a picture of me trying on the blue ones maybe 6 months ago, on Instagram, but never bought them. I wasn’t going to miss them second time around. They were in the sale too!!

have a lovely day, Amelia XO.
Having a day off from work meant I got to spend some quality time with my mum walking around Poole Park, we decided to take ol’ Pip ( our family dog, who is super old and can’t go for long walks anymore) we grabbed a coffee and chatted.
This sailor top is so comfortable and perfect for me, as i live by the sea 😉
My mum joked at how many different shades of blue I was wearing, what can I say I love blue.
