I love wearing white shirts, but can i get a photo of them with out them looking like a ghost. No, no I can’t!
Any was I decided to be confident today and wear shorts in public, I’m a very conscious person and over thing everything, showing off a feature of my body that i’m not totally comfortable with is very daunting. Having not been blessed in the butt department and given more them my share in legs, shorts always fit a little oddly, but I LOVE this little blue number. The cheapest pair of shorts in the whole world.
I’ve finally fallen back in love with jewellery, thank goodness. My jewellery collection is to vast not to wear.

These pajama trousers are so comfy, they were perfect walking around Paris. I didn’t plan to wear a totally black outfit so chose to wear this look on the coolest day. It was still about 20 something.
I love pompoms, this Topshop pompom overlay top is perfect, I tried it on right in the middle of the shop. Even a pompom on my bag. To say I’m obsessed would be an understatement. Can we just admire these sunglasses for a sec. I love mirrored shades and these make me feel super ‘cool’. I call these me space bounty hunter shades.

Aren’t these beach huts adorable, They have been redecorated by Cath Kinston to brighten up peoples day, as part of the #RandomActsofKidston. You’ll find them on the promenade on Bournemouth beach. I believe that these are the key summer prints.
Every time I go into Cath Kidston I have to buy something because it’s all beautiful. I love their home wear. But what really makes me fall in love with Cath Kinston are the accessorise. The purses and bags that have the most lovely patterns on, just make an item that extra special.
How to wear knits in summer. I love this knitted cross over top, it’s so perfect for cooler summer days, I paired it with jeans and of course and my Lulu Guinness. I completely forgot to put my shades on to show you, but they are so gorgeous. I love mirrored sunglasses and saw these on Venz Edits and fell in love.

The day I ate snails for the first time ever.
L’Escargot is an absolute gem, we jumped off the train right next to Nelson Mandela’s Garden and found our way there. You really can’t miss this place, it’s got gold snails all over it.
Stumbling over my French we opted to dine outside, our waiter seemed quite please that I at least tried my hand at French.
These snails were amazing, the texture and look of a mushroom with an amazing kick of garlic. Of course we dipped our bread into the juice to lap up the flavour, not wanting to miss a single drop.
I got the deliciously huge steak medium to well done, the juiciest steak I’ve ever eaten. Nothing at all like the steak in England. Chlo’ went for the Haddock with radishes. We kept eyeing each others plates, and being totally gluttonous we swapped plates. The Haddock was a total surprise, a sweet taste with a creamy sauce. I’ve never had sweet fish before, it was a success.
Creme brûlée for pudding. I love creaking the top, it’s so satisfying. The sweet crunch mixed with the creaming insides, perfection.
N.B: Arrive before 2 like we did and take up the starter and main or main and pudding option €17.50 do sit outside if you can and people watch all the tourists and Parisians going about their day. The whole place is effortlessly chic and decadent. Chandeliers, gold detailing hanging vines that wind their way inside, snail details on the walls and glasses.
Trip advisor give L’Escargot a 4/5. I give it a 5/5
38 Rue Montorgueil, 75001 Paris
Yesterday I came back from my four day adventure in Paris. The weather was amazing and about 30 degrees which meant that I could fully commit to the holiday outfit look.
This palm top is a high-low but I love it tucked in, gives me a bit more of a shape. I wore this look around Disney Paris on one of the hotter days. My Camo Converse are the most comfortable choice for the day, I wore them the whole trip.
The stone cuff is a nice detail for me making the whole look more tribal. The ring and the layered necklace are both from Naf Naf. Which was one of my favourite brands when I was younger. We stopped into the Champs Elysees store and picked them up.
I added a little blue to my eyeliner, what can I say, holiday fever!
skirt – Oasis
Top – H&M
trainers – Converse
Sunglasses – New Look
Ring / Necklace – Naf Naf
bag – Fiorelli
This is my favourite look from the holiday.
Does anyone have a packing process? I do, I like to create outfits lay them out on my bed add accessories and shoes then finally I think about what make up I’d add. It’s a long winded process but I love playing around and creating new looks.
This is about as essential as my packing gets, everything I need for a trip away. ( – a tooth brush)
I’ve heard that it’s going to be a heat wave in Paris, and I’ve managed to to pack mainly dark pieces. When I go away ( which isn’t every often, to make it that little extra special I take my favourite undies)
Footies are an absolute must when wearing flats in the heat, and these lace ones are so delicate.
When I first started packing my make up I totally over packed. Pallets and brushes, more then once mascara, a foundation and a bb cream. It was way to much. Above is all the make up I’m taking, aren’t you guys proud?
Urban Decay/ Clinique / No7 / Rimmel / Front Cover
The only Jewellery I’m thinking of taking at them moment.
Forever 21 / Mona Mara
Of course you have to take some spending money, no matter your budget you can always find something special to buy in Paris. Don’t forget your passport!
NB: I will post more style posts I promise, this is a style blog after all! xx
I think all always be a sucker for shimmery eye shadow, I’m pretty sure I’ll be an old lady and still rock a bit of shimmer.
I spotted these to beautiful shimmers in No7 when I was looking for moisturiser, they are mink and truffle stay perfect eyeshadow.
They are totally gorgeous, you can create so many different looks with just these two. just a hint for day time or blend in truffle into your crease for a smokey eye.
I used to use Elizabeth Arden Skin Serum, but have switched back over to No7. The Beautiful Skin Day Cream.
I have to say, I really love No7, it has the basics everyone should have in their daily makeup kit. Their lip sticks are perfect, moisturising, pigmented, beautiful.
My May favourites.
These are the things that I’ve been loving to use this month, they do spill over into last month and I’m sure I’ll be using them in June.
Percy and Reed: No Oil Oil hair Oil ( how many times can I say oil)
I’ve used this for over an week and have noticed such a difference, I’m hair is so much smoother and thicker. I don’t event get knots when it’s curly. ( This sample pot came with Elle)
Rose Gold Hoops.
I’ve always been totally jealous of girl who can pull off hoops, I think I look totally ridiculous. But I shan’t give up. I’ll find a way to style these hoops so that I feel confident wearing them. From John Lewis.
Bahoma – London, Vanilla Black
Recently I’ve falling in love with the whole Vanilla scent, I prefer the heavier smell. I’m really not one for sweet vanilla scents. Every time this is burning in the Lounge it’s my favourite place to be. The smell is so calming.
Silver Moon Boots
I’m a total magpie and spotted these boots from the other and of the store. I love wearing them so much. I think I’d be able to wear them with dresses too. They look cute with blue skinny jeans. From Primark.
I had such a hard time picking this bag out, all the bags there were so beautiful and impeccably made. The perfect for summer bag, Palm tree, flamingos, pom moms and a pop of pink = everything I’d want out if a bag. This bag really goes with everything. Brings an outfit together. From Carara Designs.
The Pig On The Beach – Studland.
Where the staff wear converse and pink shirts and the bill is presented in a cutlery case. With the sun out we decided that the best place for lunch was the terrace.
Woodland Chicken & Tarragon Raviolli.
Totally delicious, eating the flowers was quite new to me but totally loved it all, the chicken was so succulent. If I were at home I would have picked up that bowl and slurped up all the juice.
Piggy Bites: Chase Smoked Vodka BBQ Ribs.
Of course I couldn’t pass up ribs, look at them glisten in the sun, the perfect amount of sticky sauce and zingy flavour. After remaining lady like with the ravioli I really couldn’t help myself and mopped up all the sauce. Next time I’d like a table full of these bad boys.
25 Mile Menu: Produce used in The Pig’s menus local sourced!
Mum looking totally gorgeous, being all cool and aloof.
Everyone had the same idea, and were relaxing in the sun, all that was missing was free cocktails, but that would have been a bad idea because I was driving.
As you walk around you notice all the elements that set The Pig apart from the rest, the indoor garden / green house. Totally Pinterest worthy, and great staff that asked if we’d like a cushion to save our behinds on the terrace chairs. The wellies that guests can use that line the front door. The list could really go on.
If you haven’t already I suggest that you get yourself there.
There are a few Pigs dotted around the place, so find your nearest one here The Pig.
I thought I’d share with you lovely people some of the things I’m loving ‘Right Now’.
Organisation: I’ve become totally obsessed with tidy and organising things. This is of my Aunty’s makeup station. All the draws are tidied too, I also organised her wardrobe.
Looking through old school photos: I love this picture so much. I was sports day photographer which was huge because I didn’t take photography. I’m tickling my girl Rianne, while Suzy laughs away.
It was my classes Prom-Aversery the other day!! I can’t believe that it’s been 5 years. It’s totally unbelievable how time passes.
Channel 4 PopUp: Bournemouth.
A work shop held by Channel 4 and Bournemouth University to give the media creators of the future a helping hand about what they want and how to move up in the industry. Somehow I’m managed to win a place. I spent the day working in marketing.
I hope you enjoyed this post, I’m going to be making this into a regular feature i think. In other news I’m off to Paris in just under a months time. Yay!!
