Double denim, the Canadian suit whatever you like to call this look. It’s an easy “made an effort without trying too hard” outfit. Any denim jacket matching your jeans or not. Keep your other detail simple and nuted and it’s all done. So simple, and my favourite outfit I’ve worn for a while. If like me your jumper is quite puffy in the sleeves pull them out of your denim jacket to add more interest to the over all simple look.

Took a trip a day trip to London to see the Frida Kahlo exhibition at the V&A with some university friends. While we waited for a seat at Honest Burger Tess took some shots for me. I think London backdrops are so much more interesting. The orange moped was gorgeous.
Styling checked trousers has become my mission of late. I saw these button fastened ones in Primark of all places and i think they are perfect. I don’t think they are meant to be quite that cropped but I love the styling with the snake look black boots and cropped baggy grey jumper. The colour palette is so muted that colour was 100% needed. My trusty Topshop over coat was the perfect juxtaposition. Also kept me dry in the drizzly weather. Pearl hoops to add a little sophistication and glamour to the look and a vintage faux fur Calvin Klein to top it all off. Sometime super simple styling is sometimes the best.
